Gallery Assistant

Visiting a gallery is a physical and sensory experience that is carefully curated. Beyond installation one must consider the artist’s themes and artwork as well as the space, lighting and viewing angles. There must be a coherence to the artists intentions while navigating the specific gallery context of, sounds, smells and physical limitations.

Project for MSU Billings Montana Center for Inclusive Education

Commercial tables in a student center were transformed into custom art that included and complimented the school colors as well as the design elements within the room. These images are the sketches shared in my proposal. This project required research and execution of using appropriate paint and materials to make sure the tables were long lasting with regular use.
